FiliTalent is a curated talent marketplace that connects businesses with Filipino remote professionals.

For the purpose of this Privacy Policy, "FiliTalent," "we," "our," or "us" refers to: Filitalent.com, Email: hello@filitalent.com.

We collect personal information that you provide directly, information generated through your use of the platform, and limited information from third-party services.

A. Information from Talent Users — When you apply as talent, create a profile, or use FiliTalent, we may collect: Name, Email address, Phone number (if provided), Location or country, Profile photo/avatar/image, Role/category/specialization, Work experience, Skills and tools, Portfolio links, English level, Availability, Expected rate or salary range, Short introduction, Intro video (if submitted), Resume/CV/work samples (if submitted), Communication preferences, Messages sent through the platform, and any other information you voluntarily submit. For talent identity verification (see Section 16), we also collect a government-issued ID and a verification selfie.

B. Information from Hirers or Clients — When you use FiliTalent as a hirer, founder, employer, business owner, recruiter, or client, we may collect: Name, Email address, Company name, Job title, Business website, Billing information, Subscription plan, Hiring needs, Job posts, Role requirements, Preferred tools and skills, Budget or salary range, Messages and introduction requests, Shortlist activity, Talent search and browsing activity, and any other information you voluntarily submit.

C. Payment Information — If you subscribe to a paid plan or purchase a service, payment details may be processed by a third-party payment provider. FiliTalent does not intentionally store full card numbers or sensitive payment authentication details. Payment providers may collect and process payment information according to their own terms and privacy policies.

D. Technical and Usage Information — When you visit or use FiliTalent, we may automatically collect: IP address, Device type, Browser type, Operating system, Pages visited, Clicks and interactions, Referring website, Login activity, Approximate location based on IP address, Cookies and similar tracking data, and Error logs and performance data.

We use personal information to operate, improve, secure, and provide FiliTalent.

We may use your information to: Create and manage user accounts; Review and approve talent profiles; Display talent profiles to potential hirers; Allow hirers to browse talent; Allow users to post jobs; Match talent with relevant hiring needs; Create shortlists and recommendations; Enable messaging and introduction requests; Process subscriptions and payments; Provide customer support; Send service updates and account notifications; Improve platform design, search, matching, and user experience; Prevent fraud, spam, abuse, and unauthorized access; Enforce our Terms of Service; Comply with legal obligations; Send marketing communications where permitted; Analyse usage and improve FiliTalent's services.

If you submit a talent profile, you understand and agree that certain parts of your profile may be shown to potential hirers.

This may include: Name or display name, Avatar or profile photo, Role and specialization, Skills and tools, Work experience, Portfolio links, Availability, Rate expectations, Intro video (if submitted), and Short profile summary.

You may request to update, hide, or delete your profile by contacting us at hello@filitalent.com.

If you submit a job post, hiring request, or company profile, certain information may be shown to talent or used for matching.

This may include: Company name, Role requirements, Job description, Budget or salary range, Tools required, Work schedule, Hiring preferences, and Business website (if provided).

We may edit, reject, or remove job posts that breach our Terms of Service or platform rules.

FiliTalent may use automation or AI-assisted tools to help organize profiles, recommend talent, create shortlists, rank search results, summarize profile information, or match hirers with relevant candidates.

AI-assisted tools may process information such as: Skills, Role category, Experience, Tools used, Availability, Rate expectations, Hiring requirements, Profile descriptions, and Job post details.

AI-assisted matching is used to support discovery and recommendations. Final hiring decisions are made by hirers, not by FiliTalent's automated systems.

Users are responsible for reviewing information carefully before making hiring, work, or business decisions.

Where applicable, we process personal information based on one or more of the following legal bases:

Consent, such as when talent agree to display their profile. Contract, such as when we provide account, subscription, matching, or platform services. Legitimate interests, such as improving the platform, preventing fraud, and matching talent with hirers. Legal obligation, such as record-keeping, tax, accounting, or compliance duties. User request, such as when you contact us for support or ask us to update your information.

FiliTalent may use cookies and similar technologies to operate the website, improve user experience, analyse traffic, remember preferences, and support marketing.

Cookies may include: Essential cookies, Analytics cookies, Preference cookies, and Marketing or advertising cookies.

Essential cookies are necessary for the platform to function. Non-essential cookies may require your consent depending on your location. You can manage or disable cookies through your browser settings or cookie preference tool where available.

We may send emails about FiliTalent updates, product features, hiring tips, talent opportunities, offers, or platform news.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link or contacting us.

We may still send service-related messages, such as account notifications, billing updates, security alerts, or important platform changes.

We do not sell your personal information.

A. With Hirers — Talent profile information may be shared with hirers for profile browsing, shortlists, introductions, and hiring review.

B. With Talent — Hirer job posts, company information, and role requirements may be shared with talent for matching and job opportunities.

C. With Service Providers — We may share information with trusted third-party providers who help us operate FiliTalent, including: Hosting providers, Database providers, Email providers, Payment processors, Analytics tools, Customer support tools, AI or automation tools, Security tools, Marketing tools, and Legal, accounting, or compliance advisers. These providers are only allowed to process information for the services they provide to us.

D. For Legal or Safety Reasons — We may disclose information if required to: Comply with the law, Respond to legal requests, Protect FiliTalent's rights, Prevent fraud or abuse, Investigate security issues, Enforce our Terms of Service, and Protect users or the public.

E. Business Transfers — If FiliTalent is involved in a merger, acquisition, investment, restructuring, sale of assets, or business transfer, user information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

FiliTalent may operate internationally and may use service providers located in different countries.

This means your information may be processed, stored, or accessed outside your country of residence, including the United Kingdom, the Philippines, the United States, the European Economic Area, or other jurisdictions.

Where required, we take appropriate steps to protect personal information during international transfers.

We keep personal information only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

In general: Account information is kept while your account is active. Talent profile information is kept while your profile is active or under review. Hirer job post information is kept while your account or job post is active. Billing and transaction records may be kept for accounting, tax, and legal purposes. Support messages may be kept to resolve disputes and improve service. Security logs may be kept to prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.

When information is no longer needed, we may delete, anonymize, or securely archive it.

We use reasonable technical, organizational, and administrative measures to protect personal information.

These may include: Secure hosting, Password protection, Access controls, Limited admin access, Encryption where appropriate, Monitoring for abuse or unauthorized access, Secure deletion practices, and Regular platform maintenance.

However, no online platform is completely secure. Users are responsible for keeping their login details confidential and reporting suspicious activity.

Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have the right to: Be informed about how your data is used; Access the personal information we hold about you; Correct inaccurate or incomplete information; Request deletion of your information; Object to certain types of processing; Restrict certain processing activities; Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent; Request a copy of your data; Request that your profile be hidden or removed; and File a complaint with a privacy regulator.

The Philippine National Privacy Commission lists rights such as the right to be informed, access, object, rectify, erase or block, and data portability. The UK ICO also identifies individual rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and rights related to automated decision-making where applicable.

Talent users may request to: Edit profile information, Hide their profile from hirers, Delete their profile, Remove their intro video, Remove portfolio links, and Withdraw profile display consent.

Hirer users may request to: Edit account information, Remove job posts, Delete account information where applicable, and Stop marketing communications.

Some information may be retained where required for legal, billing, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or platform security purposes.

To keep FiliTalent safe and trustworthy, talent must complete an identity verification step before their profile is shown to hirers. This requires uploading a valid government-issued ID and a selfie of you holding that ID.

We use these documents only to: verify your identity, confirm your profile is genuine, prevent fraud and fake profiles, and protect the safety of the marketplace.

Processing is based on your consent. You give consent by confirming the consent statement during verification. Because verification is required to be listed, if you withdraw consent or your verification data is deleted, your profile can no longer be displayed to hirers until you verify again.

Access is restricted to the FiliTalent review team. Your ID and selfie are never shown to hirers or other users and never appear on your public profile — hirers only see a verified badge. Documents are stored in access-controlled private storage.

We keep verification documents only while your profile is active or under review, plus a limited period for fraud-prevention and dispute purposes. They are deleted when your profile is deleted, or sooner if you request deletion at hello@filitalent.com.

Please upload only the documents we ask for, and make sure no unrelated personal information is visible in your uploads. Hirers must not request ID documents or other sensitive personal information from talent through the platform unless required by law for employment purposes.

FiliTalent is not intended for users under 18 years old.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we become aware that a child has provided personal information, we may delete it.

FiliTalent may contain links to third-party websites, portfolios, social media pages, tools, or services.

We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security, content, or policies of third-party websites or services.

Users should review the privacy policies of any third-party websites they visit.

Users are responsible for the information they choose to share on FiliTalent.

Talent should avoid uploading private, confidential, or unnecessary personal information to their profiles.

Hirers should not request sensitive documents, identification, or private information unless there is a lawful and legitimate reason.

Users must not misuse personal information obtained through FiliTalent for spam, scams, harassment, discrimination, scraping, unauthorized marketing, or any unlawful purpose.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time.

If we make significant changes, we may notify users by email, platform notice, or by updating the effective date above.

Your continued use of FiliTalent after changes are posted means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
